In the third quarter of 2021, the top five navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform in Cyprus showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how each app fared based on weekly downloads and revenue data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download pattern throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a slight increase from 1.3K to 1.7K, peaking at the end of September. Despite the steady download rate, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Google Earth experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at 214 in late June and dropping to 72 by the end of September. Overall, the app's downloads showed a downward trend, with the lowest point being 72 downloads in the last week of September. Similar to Google Maps, Google Earth did not report any revenue during this quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also displayed a varied download pattern. Downloads started at 140 in late June, peaked at 212 in mid-August, and then declined to 88 by the end of September. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps showed a modest download trend with numbers fluctuating between 37 and 124 throughout the quarter. The app achieved its highest revenue of $75 in the week of September 20, with revenue showing a general upward trend from $9 in late June to $71 by the end of September.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav had a stable download rate, ranging from 39 to 119 downloads per week. Revenue for the app was sporadic, with the highest recorded at $14 in mid-July and smaller amounts in September, peaking at $6 in the final week.
